		Precision Switch Design has been an innovator in the field of switching technology for many years.  We have designed hermetically sealed piezoelectric switches for the most hostile environments:  Switches that can operate underwater; switches that can operate in space; switches with extremely high reliability.  Thanks to a zero-travel actuator, there are no moving parts, thereby eliminating any possibility of bouncing or arcing associated with mechanical type switches.
		Unlike many types of switches, our technology lends itself to ease of flexibility for custom designs.  Although we offer a standard product line, our principle focus is on the design of custom switches and keypads with a variety of enclosure materials and colors to meet a customer's requirements.  Our switches can be internally lighted in many different configurations and colors, or they can be made without illumination.  If you have special graphics requirements, this can be done on any of our switches or keypads. We are also able to wire our electronics to the customer's custom electronics and encapsulate them into our enclosures.
